Howard Slotnick
Howard Slotnick is the chairman emeritus of National Maritime Historical Society and serves on the Coast Guard foundation board, is an advisor to the American Sail Training Association, and on the board of trustees of Amistad America. Slotnick is also an honorary trustee of South Street Seaport.

Slotnick was a early trustee of South Street where with Peter Stanford and Frank Braynard he organized the first Operation Sail events. In 2000 Slotnick was chairman and CEO of OpSail Miami. He has a long and active career in supporting tall ships and the sail training movement.
