Robert ("Bob") Kamm has a long-standing interest in maritime and naval history, that may come from some long-forgotten ancestor who sailed the bounding main, but maybe not. He enjoys sailing (on someone else's boat), scuba diving in warm water, and swimming. His most intimate sailing experience was a two week Outward Bound trip off the Maine coast.
Bob was a key member of the management team of a $400 million international automotive electronics company responsible for acquisitions, divestitures, strategic planning, and marketing. He retired in 2002. He and his wife, Sue, live in Niagara-on-the-Lake (NOTL), Ontario, Canada, and in New York City. Their interests include travel, the theatre, tennis and housing restoration. Their two adult children and a grandson live in the Chicago area. In NOTL, Bob is working with local and regional groups preparing to celebrate the bicentennial of the War of 1812.
