You and a guest will take part in the Annual Choptank Heritage Skipjack Race aboard the Rosie Parks in Cambridge, Maryland on Saturday, September 22, 2018. Skipjacks traditionally raced in September to shake out rigging and get boats ready for the upcoming oyster season. Today there are less than two dozen active Skipjacks and only two skipjack races left on the Bay. The race in Cambridge provides the opportunity to see most of the surviving traditional Skipjacks up close and under sail in one location. A race festival begins at 8:30 AM, with a parade of boats at 9AM out of Cambridge Creek. The race itself begins around 10AM, depending on weather conditions.

Payment information in the form of a credit card will be collected at the time of your bid, but the payment will not be processed unless yours is the winning bid on April 25, 2018. If you are the winning bidder, we will notify you by email or phone, charge your credit card for payment and make arrangements for shipping or pickup. Additional payment for shipping will then be charged.
